Organisation Chart

The Courts Council is CSV's governing body and comprises the Heads of Jurisdiction and independent members appointed by the Council. The Courts Council is supported by several committees. 

The Chief Executive Officer of CSV is appointed by the Council. Each Court CEO is appointed by the Courts Council on the recommendation of the Head of Jurisdiction and has a direct responsibility to that Head of Jurisdiction in relation to the administration of the support services for that court or tribunal as well as a responsibility to the CSV CEO.

The operational divisions of CSV provide services to the jurisdictions.

Committees of the Courts Council are the Audit and Risk Committee, Finance Committee, Health, Safety and Culture Committee, Courts Koori Committee, Executive Remuneration Committee, and the Courts Executive. Reporting to the Courts Council is the CSV Chief Executive Officer. Boards and Heads of Jurisdiction with an advisory connection are the Board of the Judicial Commission of Victoria, the Board of the Judicial College of Victoria, and the Heads of Jurisdiction. The Chief Executive Officer is supported by two main leadership streams: Deputy CEO and Jurisdiction CEOs. The Deputy CEO oversees the following business areas: People Services, Communications, Commercial (including Built Environment and Security and Emergency Management), Finance, Legal and Risk (including Board Secretary, Legal and Compliance, and Fraud and Integrity), CSV Digital (including Data Insights and Cyber Security), the Major Projects Unit (CMS and WLC), and the Dhumbwa Murmuk Djerring Unit.
