Civil transcripts

From 1 July 2021, Legal Transcripts and Epiq Australia Pty Ltd are the appointed panel service providers for transcript of civil proceedings at the Supreme Court of Victoria. All information and order forms can be found via Transcript services | The Supreme Court of Victoria.

Requests for transcript in the Practice Court (a division of the Supreme Court – Common Law) is provided for by the Victorian Government Reporting Service (VGRS).

Requests for transcription of proceedings in the Practice Court can be submitted to the VGRS after completing the form: 

In all other civil matters, transcripts are provided by private transcription companies. If you require a transcript of a civil proceeding in the Federal, or County Court, please contact the Presiding Officer's associate/clerk and request permission to obtain a copy of the recording.
