File Minutes of Proposed Orders (Amend, Add or Delete)

This Quick Reference Guide shows how to file Minutes of Proposed Orders (Amend, Add or Delete).
Amend Minutes of Proposed Orders
1. From CMS Portal Home page, click: File on One of My Cases. List of cases display.
Note: Only cases user previously filed on or requested access to, display.
2. For relevant case, click case number link. Filings tab displays.
3. Click Orders tab. Orders tab displays.
4. For relevant order, click: Update Draft Order. Add Draft Order screen displays.
5. In Order Summary next to order to be amended, click edit icon. Order entry panel displays.
6. Amend order as required.
7. Click: Add Order. Amended order displays.
Note: Once all orders are added, click Preview button to review order in more detail.
8. In Share with parties or submit to court? field, select relevant option.
Note:
- Share with Parties allows other parties to view and update Minutes of Proposed Orders.
- Minutes of Proposed Orders cannot be updated once Submit to Court selected.
9. Click: Proceed. Confirmation of Filing screen displays.
Note:
- Minutes of Proposed Orders can be updated in Orders tab any time before submission to Court.
- Once submitted, Minutes of proposed orders document generates and can be accessed through My Account screen.
Add Minutes of Proposed Orders
1. From CMS Portal Home page, click: File on One of My Cases. List of cases display.
Note: Only cases user previously filed on or requested access to, display.
2. For relevant case, click case number link. Filings tab displays.
3. Click Orders tab. Orders tab displays.
4. For relevant order, click: Update Draft Order. Add Draft Order screen displays.
5. Complete required panels and fields.
Order Panels
- Consent Type: Select relevant option.
- Hearing Notations: Type if required.
- Sub-cases: Select relevant subcase.
- Add Order(s): Select type of order you want to add.
6. Click plus icon. Selected order panel displays.
7. Complete relevant fields associated with order.
8. Click: Add Order. Order Summary displays.
Note: Once all orders are added, click Preview button to review order in more detail.
9. In Share with parties or submit to court? field, select relevant option.
Note:
- Share with Parties allows other parties to view and update Minutes of Proposed Orders.
- Minutes of Proposed Orders cannot be updated once Submit to Court selected.
10. Click: Proceed. Confirmation of Filing screen displays.

Delete Minutes of Proposed Orders
1. From CMS Portal Home page, click: File on One of My Cases. List of cases display.
Note: Only cases user previously filed on or requested access to, display.
2. For relevant case, click case number link. Filings tab displays.
3. Click Orders tab. Orders tab displays.
4. For relevant order, click: Update Draft Order. Add Draft Order screen displays.
5. In Order Summary next to order to deleted, click edit icon. Editable order details display.
6. Click cross in top right-hand corner of panel to delete. Deleted order is removed.
Note: Once all orders are added, click Preview button to review order in more detail.
7. In Share with parties or submit to court? field, select relevant option.
Note:
- Share with Parties allows other parties to view and update Minutes of Proposed Orders.
- Minutes of Proposed Orders cannot be updated once Submit to Court selected.
