Selecting Parties in Applies To panel

All parties to an application must be selected in the Applies To panel when filing a secondary application.

This is particularly important for Victoria Legal Aid to perform conflict checks and make referrals for applications that result in a Legal Aid Representation Information Form (LAIRF).

Failure to select all parties when filing these applications will result in the LAIRF generated by CMS not populating party details, resulting in Victoria Legal Aid being unable to assist parties in obtaining legal representation.

Failure to select the correct parties will also impact other downstream processes such as appearances and automated notifications

Please ensure all active parties are selected in Applies To panel when filing any of the above applications
