Using defined order types

• CMS has defined order types for all common orders made within the child protection jurisdiction. Depending on the order, these order types may drive numerous downstream business rules eg notifications, VLA referrals, alerts, party check-in, etc.

• It is very important that the appropriate order types are utilised rather than the use of free text orders. If free text orders are made, downstream business rules will not execute.
